WP1 Workshop

The WP1 leaders and the ACCESS management board would like to remind you of the important WP1 workshop in Villefranche June 2/3.

We will examine the integration of WP1 observation and modelling program components with one another, and the integration of the combined results with requirements of other WPs. The workshop should of course be attended by WP 1 partners, at least one for each task.

Since the workshop is oriented towards synthesis, we also strongly suggest participation of partners from other WPs,  especially if you are using climate or environmental data for your tasks.

Partners should register via Vitamib and see local hotel information below.

The tentative agenda is currently worked out, the workshop will cover the full two days, so please plan for a start Monday 10 AM and and end Tuesday 5 PM.

The following topics will be dealt with:

  1. Presentations by WP1 partners (main results so far, expected results, related issues) here we will also have the opportunity to discuss controversial results or interpretations with the aim to come to a concurrent view wrt the different objectives of WP1.
  2. Presentations by WP2, 3, 4 and 5 partners about expectations/desiderata WP1 topics, impact on other WP's activities.
  3. Discussions about the various open issues regrading the road to synthesis, including an agreement on consistent scenarios/development of the next 30 years in terms of WP1 topics as far as it will be the base for the synthesis and results of other WPs.
