The First International Narvik Conference on Arctic Ports

The Port of Narvik in cooperation with Maritime Forum North and Ocean Futures will organize in Narvik (Norway) in April 2013 (dates will be decided very soon):

THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL NARVIK CONFERENCE ON  ARCTIC PORTS will focus on ports, logistics, shipping, resources and trade flows.

A planning document, which Ocean Futures is preparing for the Port of Narvik, will be ready in February next year. In April 2012 - a year before the conference will be held - the conference program will be presented. The conference will be organized in close cooperation with organizations in Asia, North-America and Europe. Russian organisations  will of course be very important collaborative partners. The conference will be organized every second year.
